The MPS-ABC certificate offers you a transparency tool which shows your use of agrochemicals, water, energy and fertilizers.

MPS will organize an information meeting on 30 March 2017 at 16:30 at the Palazzo dei Vescovi conference room located in Piazza del Duomo in Pistoia, for some updates of the MPS certification schemes and the actual market's trends.

Your presence is therefore particularly welcome. Here the invitation in Italian.

Sincerely yours,
Antonio Fracassi

In MPS-ABC, the grower keeps records of (amongst other things) the crop protection agents he uses at the farm. Worldwide, a number of active substances are not allowed in the MPS-ABC registration. These active substances are listed in the MPS Black List.

The Black List is drawn up after consultation of the various lists of leading and authoritative organizations with respect to crop protection agents. There were 5 organizations; now the WHO-list 1a has been added. The Council of Stakeholders and the MPS Board have already approved the extension of the Black List.

Based on the analysis, the active substances that were added as of January 1, 2017 are marked in red. Active substances that are new on the list, may be used up till and including period 7 2017, provided that they are legally permitted.
