In Control of Residue
This tool will improve the knowledge and awareness of the sector on the issue of crop protection residues in and on flowers and plants. If residue is detected on a product, and the relevant crop protection agent was not applied by the grower, the residue often ends up on the product through a different route. This route is called the indirect route. These are the main routes which could cause an active substance to end up on a product.
This tool will give growers ideas how to reduce the residue levels on their products by emphasising where residues exist and how they influence the growing process.
